CA JAYCEE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2026 SCHOLARSHIPS

The California (CA) Jaycee Foundation Scholarship program provides scholastic funding to eligible High School Seniors who will continue their education at any accredited college or vocational school in the United States.  In 2026, Scholarship awards will be given in increments of $1,000.

 

Three recipients of the California Jaycee Foundation Scholarships will also be forwarded to the United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program Review Committee. These candidates will also be eligible for additional awards through the national program: two candidates will be reviewed for scholastic scholarships - either $2,000 if selected for a named scholarship or $1,500, and one candidate will be reviewed for a vocational/industrial scholarship in the amount of $1,000. In 2026, twenty-four of the fifty available scholastic scholarships are designated as named scholarships.

To be more competitive, students should have this information as quickly as possible. Please share this information and link with your school guidance counselors, career counseling services, and school scholarship website.   The application cutoff mailing date is January 12, 2026.  It must be submitted via US postal mail and postmarked by that date.  No electronic submissions will be accepted.

 Important Information for Students

  • Read the first two pages of instructions carefully and follow all instructions to complete the application with the embedded checklist, page name and numbering, photo requirement, and all supporting documentation that is required. Every page, including any added documentation and the student transcript need to have the student name and page number included.  

  • College/university bound students must have a 3.75 GPA or higher to be eligible to apply.  Vocational/technical trade school bound students must have a 3.25 GPA or higher to be eligible to apply.

  • ACT/SAT scores are no longer required at hundreds of colleges and universities across the United States.  To reward those students who did take these tests and include with the application, minimal points will be awarded on the judging sheet.

  • Applicants may not use AI in creating personal statement essay.  We want to see your thought process and expression of ideas through the way you write and communicate.
